The leading symptoms of cirrhosis are:
- Easy bruising and bleeding.
- Itchy skin.
- Yellow skin and eyes.
- Absorption of fluid in the abdomen (ascites).
- Loss of appetite.
- Swelling of the leg.
- Weight loss.
- Confusion, drowsiness and unexplained speech (hepatic encephalopathy).
- Spot red spots from which the spinal blood vessels spread.
- Testes atrophy in men.
